This 10-week academy is one of the top programs in the state with three sessions each year (Fall, Spring and Summer). Features: full-time, live-in options at local fire stations, low-cost, and job seeking preparation and skill building.
We offer a wide variety of OSFM and NFA certification classes. This includes Firefighter, Instructor, Officer, Technical Rescuer, Specialty Rescue, Driver/Operator, Aircraft Firefighter, and many more.
Held in November of each year, this annual Fire/Rescue College is one of the largest in the state with enrollment each year of more than 700 students.

The Fire Protection Technology curriculum is designed to provide individuals with technical and professional knowledge to make decisions regarding fire protection for both public and private sectors. It also provides a sound foundation for continuous higher learning in fire protection, administration, and management.
