Financial Aid FAQ’s

To apply for financial aid you must go to. First time users will be prompted to create an account. This is the only financial aid account you are allowed to have so please take note of your username and password. You may fill out this application independently or come to the Student Enrollment Center in the Jack Hunt Campus Center room 2102 for assistance. You will need to fill out the FAFSA for each school year, ideally in the spring for our school.

There is not a deadline at our school to apply for financial aid, however, we do recommend students complete the process at least one month before the start of classes.

Financial aid funds are awarded when your application is approved here at the school level. We automatically award for the fall and spring semesters. Your tuition is paid automatically and remaining funds are available for the purchase of textbooks and supplies during the dates posted on our website. Please see the question below about how to utilize aid for purchases. We will manually award summer as part of the same school year on a student by student basis as they register for their summer classes.

All diploma and associate degree programs are covered by financial aid. There are a few certificate programs that qualify so please check with your advisor if you have any questions about your program’s eligibility.

Financial aid is available during certain time frames each semester for students to use as a payment form in the or through the Get Textbooks app in their student portal. The dates financial aid is available are published on the Financial Aid Dates page. Students may use their remaining aid in the Spirit Shop located on the first floor of the Jack Hunt Campus Center during those dates also.

The financial aid website page of important dates will have a disbursement schedule posted on it each semester. On those dates we will send out disbursement checks of any remaining financial aid funds based on your enrollment eligibility at that time. Students who have classes starting at multiple times throughout a semester may receive more than one disbursement check. Please make sure your address is current in our school system before these dates to ensure delivery of your check. We do not offer any direct deposit options at this time.
