Non-Structural Damage I
This course introduces safety, tools, and the basic fundamentals of body repair. Topics include shop safety, damage analysis, tools and equipment, repair techniques, materials selection, materials usage, and other related topics. Upon completion, students should be able to identify and repair minor direct and indirect damage including removal, repairing, and replacing of body panels to accepted standards.

This course covers safety, tools, and advanced body repair. Topics include shop safety, damage analysis, tools and equipment, advanced repair techniques, materials selection, materials usage, movable glass, and other related topics. Upon completion, students should be able to identify and repair or replace direct and indirect damage to accepted standards including movable glass and hardware.
Curriculum
Nsg Transition Concepts
This course is designed to introduce concepts within the three domains of the individual, healthcare, and nursing as the LPN transitions to the ADN role. Emphasis is placed on the concepts within each domain including evidenced-based practice, quality improvement, communication, safety, interdisciplinary team, clinical decision-making, informatics, assessment, caring, and health-wellness-illness. Upon completion, students should be able to provide safe nursing care incorporating the concepts identified in this course.

Nurse Aide I
This course includes basic nursing skills required to provide safe, competent personal care for individuals. Emphasis is placed on person-centered care, the aging process, communication, safety/emergencies, infection prevention, legal and ethical issues, vital signs, height and weight measurements, elimination, nutrition, basic restorative care/rehabilitation, dementia, mental health, and end-of-life care. Upon completion, students should be able to demonstrate knowledge and skills, and be eligible to test for listing on the North Carolina Nurse Aide I Registry.

Upon completion, students should be able to demonstrate knowledge and skills, and safe performance of skills necessary to be eligible for listing on the North Carolina Nurse Aide II Registry.
