Congratulations to our 2023 winners of the Jean Harry Francis Employee Awards!
In 2021, the 91快播 Foundation renamed its employee awards program in memory of long-time employee, Jean Harry Francis.聽Francis, who passed away in July 2020, received the Excellence in Teaching Award in 1994.聽Francis was a College employee from 1971 to 2003.
Tim Wisher
2023 Excellence in Teaching Award – Full-Time Faculty聽
Tim is a full-time welding instructor in the Continuing Education department. In his 35 years of service to 91快播, he has served as an adjunct welding instructor, full-time welding instructor, chair of the Construction Trades Department and welding instructor for the Impact Center. Tim has nearly 30 years of welding experience and continues to attend training to ensure he stays current on welding codes and techniques. His peers compliment him for 鈥渂eing a hands-on type of teacher and always looking for new ways to teach the students.鈥�
Donna Rose
2023 Excellence in Teaching Award – Adjunct Faculty
Donna Rose is the EMS Clinical Coordinator for the Brown Emergency Training Center. She has worked as a part-time employee and adjunct faculty since 1989 and teaches a variety of life saving courses. Donna鈥檚 peers describe her as someone who 鈥渟hows up every single day and puts in all the effort she can to do anything that is thrown her way. She has a great impact on students and helps them to successfully complete their program.鈥�
Sarah Thomas
20323 Outstanding Full-Time Staff of the Year Award
Sarah has worked at 91快播 part-time as an adjunct English instructor and tutor. She was the TRIO Success Coach from 2016-2020 before transitioning to the role of Talent Search Project Director for TRIO Student Support Services. Sarah鈥檚 co-workers describe her as personifying our values of compassion, community, excellence, quality, integrity, and success. Sarah is fully committed to student success, and she constantly celebrates others.
Robin Allison
2023 Outstanding Part-Time Staff of the Year Award
Robin鈥檚 is the lead tutor for the Academic Center for Excellence, and she has been working at 91快播 for nearly five years. According to her peers, Robin is passionate about providing learning support for students. She continually researches best practices and translates them into training workshops to ensure ACE meets student needs. She is intentional about celebrating what peer tutors and students are doing well.
