The Information Technology - Cisco Networking certificate provides students with knowledge and skills in network routing and switching in local and wide-area networks. Upon completing this certificate, students should be prepared for the current Cisco CCNA certification.

The Information Technology - Computer Science Foundations certificate is designed to immerse students into coding as they explore fundamental principles of computer science. Students will learn to read and write code, collaborate in teams, and emerge with strong portfolios.

The Information Technology - Foundations certificate provides students with foundational knowledge and skills in a variety of information technology disciplines. All students who seek a degree in Information Technology should enroll in this certificate. Upon completing this certificate, students should be prepared for the current CompTIA Strata IT Fundamentals certification as well as the MTA in Networking Fundamentals, Security Fundamentals and Windows Operating System Fundamentals.

The Information Technology - Network Defense certificate provides students with advanced knowledge of information systems security. Upon completing this certificate, students should be prepared for the CompTIA Advanced Security Practitioner (CASP) certification and the Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH) certification.

Students will learn how to use technologies to provide reliable transmission and delivery of data, voice, image, and video communications in business, industry, and education. Graduates should qualify for employment in entry-level positions with businesses, educational systems, and governmental agencies which rely on computer systems to manage information. The program will incorporate the competencies of industry-recognized certification exams.

The Information Technology (IT) curriculum with emphasis on Programming and Web Development prepares graduates for employment working in website design, development, and management with organizations that use computers to design, process, manage, communicate, and store information. Coursework includes the development of a student's ability to communicate and solve technical issues related to websites and web servers. Students develop an ability to design and program databases and database-driven websites, as well as administration of content-management systems. Graduates should qualify for employment in entry-level positions with businesses, educational systems, and governmental agencies that rely on computer systems to design and manage information. The program will incorporate the competencies of industry-recognized certification exams.

The Information Technology - Social Media certificate introduces students to the concepts of web fundamentals and the use of social networking as a marketing strategy employed by individuals as well as companies to promote branding.

The Information Technology - Web Development Specialist certificate provides students with the essential skills required to design a website with various media elements according to current HTML/CSS and JavaScript standards.

The Information Technology - Webmaster certificate provides students with the skills to develop and manage websites and social media for modern businesses utilizing best practices.

The Magnetic Resonance Imaging certificate prepares the student to use MRI equipment to visualize cross-sectional anatomical structures and aid physicians in the demonstration of pathologies and disease processes. Individuals entering this curriculum must be registered or registry-eligible radiologic technologists, radiation therapists, or nuclear medicine technologists. Course work prepares the technologist to provide patient care and perform studies using imaging equipment, professional communication, and quality assurance in scheduled and emergency procedures through academic and clinical studies. Academic courses are offered fully online. Clinical courses can be arranged, within reason, to fit the student’s schedule. Students will rotate through a variety of clinical sites to obtain the necessary experience and competency exams. Graduates may be eligible to sit for the American Registry of Radiologic Technologist Advanced-Level testing in Magnetic Resonance Imaging examinations. They may find employment in facilities that perform these imaging procedures. Admission and Selection Criteria 91快播 has established admissions and selection procedures to ensure students are admitted and selected in a consistent and equitable manner. Completion of these requirements will not guarantee admission to the program. All applicants are encouraged to attend a Health Sciences Symposium held in June and November to learn more about the program. All admissions criteria must be completed and submitted to the Admissions Office prior to the program deadline of April 25. Admissions Requirements Application to the College and NC Residency Official college transcripts documenting graduation from a JRCERT or JRCNMT approved program   Must be registered or registry eligible in one of the following: radiologic technologist, radiation therapist, or nuclear medicine technologist. No MRI certificate will be awarded until proof of ARRT registration is provided. Post-Provisional Acceptance Requirements An email notification of provisional acceptance will be sent by May 1. The following must be completed to satisfy acceptance requirements: Criminal background check and 12-panel drug screen obtained through a secure compliance tracking database The following immunizations are required (more information will be provided during orientation): Complete 2-Step TB Test or IGRA Hepatitis B Influenza (required between 9/1 - 10/31) or of current Influenza Season Varicella Td or TDaP MMR CPR Certification Comply with the Technical Standards outlined for the program Highly recommended for all students to have health insurance Clinical facilities may require criminal background checks, drug screenings, and/or proof of US citizenship prior to or during participation in the clinical portion of the program. A student who is unable to complete the clinical portion of the program will not be able to graduate. Criminal background checks, drug screenings, and/or proof of US citizenship may also be required after graduation by examination boards, state licensing boards, and employing agencies.
